Brief

The brief was to redesign the site to better reflect the brand, improve the e-commerce experience, and remove friction from the checkout process to increase completed purchases. What We Did We delivered a full website redesign with a focus on clarity, usability and conversion. The project included: A complete visual refresh to tidy up the brand and create a more polished, consistent presentation across the site Restructuring the site layout and navigation to make it easier for customers to browse titles and collections Improving the e-commerce experience with clearer product pages, simplified cart interactions and a more intuitive checkout flow Optimising the site for performance and mobile use to ensure a smooth experience across all devices Behind the scenes, we also cleaned up legacy elements and streamlined how content and products are managed, making the site easier for the Festoon team to maintain long term. Focus on Checkout & Conversion A key part of the project was reducing friction in the checkout process. We identified unnecessary steps and points of confusion that could cause drop offs, then reworked the flow to make purchasing faster and more straightforward. The result is a checkout experience that feels simple, clear and aligned with customer expectations for modern e-commerce.
