As part of the Uber Eats Ballina launch campaign, we were engaged to provide a suite of PR photography assets showcasing local personality and regional pride. The shoot centred around Dory’s Takeaway, a well-loved local business, and its owner James, who became the face of the campaign.
To give the visuals a strong local flavour, we photographed James across multiple Ballina landmarks including the iconic Big Prawn, Shelly Beach, and outside the Dory’s shopfront itself. These familiar settings helped ground the campaign in place, instantly connecting with residents in the Ballina and Lennox Head communities.
Our goal was to create images that felt approachable, authentic, and promotional — suitable for use across press releases, social media, digital advertising, and Uber Eats’ internal marketing materials. The final asset library included both posed and candid portraits, action shots at the takeaway window, and lifestyle imagery in outdoor coastal locations.
This project is a great example of how strategic PR photography in Ballina can elevate a regional brand launch, blending local identity with a national campaign message. As a professional photographer in Ballina, we focus on creating imagery that not only looks great, but also tells a story — supporting both the business and the broader brand objectives.
